Little Peppercorn — so small, so sweet!
Peppercorn is the only girl of triplets born to yearling, first-freshener JC’s Allspice (Spicy). Her brothers got all the fun colors of her litter, but retained this girl because she was small (and our herd needs some size reductions) and to see what changes her sire, Green Gables E Asher *B has made to her mother’s wide teat placements. (For pictures of dam/sire lines, click on their names, please.)
Peppercorn freshened with a nice udder with plenty of milk. She has great milk genes on both sides!

Peppercorn’s FF Udder
We LOVE Peppercorn’s FF udder. It is high and tight with a strong medial and teat placement that is much improved from her dam. It is quite productive for a FF udder nursing one doeling.
I am hoping that no one snaps up this girl (who is currently for sale) so that I can have a second freshening and milk test her next year!
Peppercorn’s Kids
2023 Kid
Peppercorn was bred to Blackberry’s BQ Once in a Blue Moon for her first freshening. She kidded out in our mountain pasture in a light rainstorm. She had one small, adorable doeling, Storybook’s Nutmeg.
