Candyman is a much-longed-for son of our beloved Green Gables E Asher *B, who we lost in the fall of 2022 from meningeal worm. Before he passed, Asher bred four does. We retained all his 2023 daughters and two of his sons. Candyman is one of those sons; Buckeye is the other.
Candyman is out of Wonderful Farm SG Royal Candy *P. Candy has so much to love: she is deep and wide, is polled (as is Candyman), and has a wonderful brisket. She is a star producer as well.
Right now, he’s just growing up, but at 8 months, he displays a long body, level topline, wide flat butt and outstanding brisket. He is wide bodied as well, with wonderful breed character (loooong ears). You can explore his parents and their parents by clicking on the linked names above.

“Cami’s udder is very close to my ideal with high, wide attachments, a strong medial, a well extended, strong foreudder, correctly placed and sized teats (that are easy to milk!) and lots of capacity with a good will to milk. Her production is excellent, she peaked at 7# as a first freshener! She has continued to milk well in her subsequent lactations with a steady 5# throughout her lactation peaking at over a gallon.”

“Trillium has an absolutely stunning udder. Socked on TIGHT and very capacious. Her teats are correctly placed and well shaped. She milks extremely well for her size giving almost as much as some of the does who are several inches taller than she is. She gave over 1050#’s of milk in 2011 with a 5.46%BF. At nine years old, she produced 1198# in 288 days with many days of 6-7# of milk!”
