Rosie was born in the late spring of 2020. She is an f5.
Her dam is JC’s Bluebelle 3*P, and her sire is Green Gables E Asher *B. (You can learn about these on their pages, linked to their names.)
Rosie is a character: always in the front of whatever is going on. She is a lovely chocolate color with looong ears. She has a great milk heritage from both her dam and sire.
She freshened for the first time in 2022 with a stunningly beautiful udder. Her littermate brother, Storybook’s Bramble *B, is a gorgeous buck, the sire of JC’s Biscotti. (See his picture on her page.)

First Freshening
There’s so much to love about this FF udder! High, tightly attached, great shape, perfectly sized and positioned teats, smooth, wide fore udder, and good production for a FF nursing a single buckling (4.9# first test). The pictures below are of her first Milk Test and 12-hour separation. We anticipate it growing as she freshens in the future.
Second Freshening
Rosie was bred to Sid late due to a very wonky breeding season. She delivered triplets on June 4, 2023. We so wished that she could be put on test, but it was too late in the season. The triplets are gorgeous, as is her udder.
This is Rosie in labor with her tangled triplets. It was a hard labor, but she was a rock star.
Her second freshening udder is all that we hoped and believed that it would be when we retained Nonny. High, socked on tight with great attachments, great shape, perfect teat placement, and strong medial.

2022 Kid
Rosie was bred to Bellhouse’s Rigel *B. They produced one beautiful F6 purebred buckling, who we retained and bred to 5 does in 2023: Storybook’s Nonpareil. (See his kids on his page, linke to his name.) He’s a gorgeous chocolate boy with a long body and very level topline, long ears and lovely breed character.
2023 Kids
Rosie was bred to Mosaic’s Mahogany Obsidian *B (Sid) and had tangled triplets. We had a hard time getting them out, but God blessed and all three were born alive: 2 bucklings (Black Thorn and Ambrose) and a doeling (retained): Primrose. All three have wonderful breed character, and are F6 (possibly purebreds).
