Storybook’s Amie

Amie was born to Ginger Top Farm Giselle *P and Goat Trails Finley’s Gem Texas Pete on April 10, 2020. She is a beautiful color—a real standout in our herd—moonspotted and polled. Her sire gave her great milk genes and polled genes. She is polled.

Amie’s dam Giselle’s udder is one of the best in our barn. is capacious, and socked on tight, with correct teat placements. You can see it on her page here. Giselle is a gentle and sweet doe, and her daughter is like her. She also gave Amie her wonderful moonspots, great breed character, and long, soft ears.

Amie is G6S normal by parentage, and an F2 (Experimental) doe. We are eager to see what she brings us in the future.

Amie is a bit shy in our herd, but when no one is watching, she can be a character. Below are a couple of shots of her growing up.

Amie was paired with Bellhouse’s Rigel *B for her first freshening. She kidded easily, giving us boy/girl twins. Her boy had his daddy’s blue eyes. We retained her daughter.
