Pixie started life as a firstborn tiny runt. She was the first out of quads, given us by Udderly Precious Mimz the Word *P and Bellhouse’s Rigel *B.
Mimzie is one of our favorite does: gentle, sweet, an excellent mother, and an 8#/day producer. (We started to put Mimz on milk test in 2020, but COVID prevented us from continuing. However, in 2021 she was our strongest milker and easily earned her star in both volume and butterfat. We milked her through instead of breeding her, and she has –at this writing–been over a year in milk!)
Meanwhile, Pixie was catching up in size, and has a personality much bigger than her size! We called her Pixie Dust because of the beautiful blue roan dusting. And we just love her beautiful blue eyes!
Pixie freshened with a single buckling in 2021, and with triplets in 2022. We are retaining her 2022 daughter (Storybook’s Tinkerbelle), and sadly moving Pixie on.

Pixie’s first freshening produced a single buckling, Storybook’s Puck, sired by Green Gables E Asher *B. Pixie was a very attentive mother.
Pixie’s 2022 KIds
Pixie was bred to Blackberry’s BQ Once in a Blue Moon for her second freshening, and produced triplets: two bucklings (Caliban and Peter Pan) and a beautiful little blue-eyed girl, whom we retained: Storybook’s Tinkerbelle.
