Celeste is a pretty girl! She is moonspotted, with blue eyes and great breed character. We love her long, level topline, wide and deep body, and solid brisket. She’s a keeper for sure!
Celeste is out of Storybook’s Twinkle by Bellhouse’s Rigel *B. We are hoping that her mix of genetics will bring lots of milk to match her lovely conformation.
In this picture, at 5 months old, she looks SO much like her grandmother, Skillman’s Star *P. We hope she’ll follow in her hoofprints.

Celeste has a very nice FF udder! It is well shaped with a strong medial and good attachments, set high on her escutcheon. We will definitely be keeping this girl for another year.

2023 Kids
Bred to Blackberry’s BQ Once in a Blue Moon, Celeste freshened one day early of her due date. Her kids were in perfect position and she kidded easily. When her herd member Marguerite rejected her singleton doeling Anastasia (Orphan Annie), Celeste accepted her with her twins and happily nursed all three.
2024 No Kids
Celeste had a hard time of it during 2023. She was hit with a bad case of worms that we didn’t catch early, and we almost lost her to anemia. Then, just as she was recovered from anemia and allowed to go out with the doe herd, she broke her leg, and was in a cast for four weeks!
We are grateful that she pulled through all of that, and she’s going to take a time out for 2024 kidding!
