Jenny is out of Bellhouse’s Magpie *P by Storybook’s Prince Valiant. We were excited because she is our first doe to retain and freshen out of Valiant, who has since become disabled because of contracting meningeal worm in the fall of 2022. Jenny’s dam has a lovely udder, and Valiant’s dam, Gingertop Farm Giselle *P, is a powerhouse milker: an MDGA Top 10 in multiple categories.
Jenny is still young! This is her yearling picture, and she’s pregnant in it: due to deliver in mid-June of 2023.
Jenny’s Baby Picture
This is a sweet, precious doeling. She has a lovely face with big brown eyes that will steal your heart at first glance. Her long, soft, fuzzy frosted ears and daintily tipped muzzle don’t detract from this picture!

Jenny’s Udder
We were disappointed in Jenny’s FF udder, but she will still make someone a good little backyard milker! She had no trouble raising her two fine boys.
Also, many does whose FF udders are disappointing are much better during a second freshening. Given her heritage, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of improvement going forward.
Jenny’s Kids at Storybook Farm
Jenny’s first freshening produced twin bucklings by Sid. She kidded easily. The boys were very handsome as they grew up and found a great pet home.
